Our Supermicro SuperServers feature a mirrored RAID drive system. What this means is: in the event of a hard drive failure, the server will carry on with the mirrored drive.

Our network is built to ensure maximum network connectivity and uptime. In total there are six alternative major routes which can be taken, with further fail-overs as well. This not only ensures that the quickest path is taken, but in the event of one carrier failing data can be re-routed through another via the BGP4 protocols in place.

Additionally, we have a connection to Pipe Networks Internet eXchange. This means that, if your ISP connects to Pipe Networks, the path between our server and your connection will be shorter, and data downloaded from the server to you is classed by many ISP's as free data, which may not be counted towards your monthly download limits.

Plans

Our servers run under the Apache Linux operating system. We offer cPanel hosting plans. cPanel is feature-rich and is the world’s most popular control panel.

We offer a 100MB hosting plan, the Silver Plan, and a 200MB plan, the Gold Plan. Other plans can be created for clients with special needs.

Domain Registration

Although our operation is based in Australia, there are no restrictions in terms of acceptable domain names. Some clients prefer to register their domain names independently. In this case you will need our name server details, which are:
Primary name server: ns.mandalayalpacas.com
Secondary name server: ns2.mandalayalpacas.com
Other clients prefer to have us register their domain name for them. We are able to register a number of country code domains; please enquire for details.
